Vodafone Cook Islands officially opened its new retail store in Parekura, Rarotonga today with a blessing ceremony, marking a new chapter in the company’s commitment to connectivity, innovation, and customer service.
The new location is a move from the previous CITC town store and introduces a modern, customer-focused space designed to deliver a higher standard of service and an immersive retail experience.
A standout feature of the new store is Connected Living - an interactive in-store experience where customers can explore Samsung’s latest smart home and lifestyle products. Through its new partnership with Samsung, a globally recognised leader in smart technology, Vodafone brings this innovative experience to life, allowing customers to engage with cutting-edge solutions.
The Connected Living showroom demonstrates how integrated Samsung products —ranging from smart TVs and home appliances to smartphones, tablets, and wearable technology—can simplify and enhance everyday life, all powered by Vodafone’s reliable and high-speed network solutions.
“This new retail space is more than just a store—it’s a hub of innovation. This groundbreaking project marks a major step forward for technology and innovation. We’re proud to partner with Samsung to bring the future of connected technology to the people of the Cook Islands,” said Phillip Henderson, CEO of Vodafone Cook Islands.
Ryan Jolly, Head of Pacific Islands Consumer Electronics at Samsung New Zealand, also attended the launch and praised the collaboration.
“Samsung is proud to support Vodafone Cook Islands in delivering world-class technology experiences to the region. Our commitment to the Pacific is strong, and through partnerships like this, we’re helping to empower communities in the Cook Islands with smart, connected living solutions that improve everyday life,” said Mr. Jolly.
